STORY
TRUU IMPACT, Inc. was established by Arthravius Smoots, whose life story is defined by tenacity, grit, and an unwavering love for basketball. Raised by a single mother, Arthravius understood early on the obstacles facing youth in urban environments—from navigating self-identity to overcoming systemic barriers and a lack of resources.For him, the basketball court provided more than competition; it offered a sanctuary of structure and a clear road toward his true calling.
Supported by consistent effort and meaningful mentorship, Arthravius shifted his trajectory, unlocking new levels of achievement in every aspect of his life.Inspired by his own path, he created TRUU IMPACT, Inc. to offer young men the guidance and community he once sought. Today, our mission is to motivate and equip athletes to face life’s challenges with strength—utilizing the game of basketball to cultivate core values, foster integrity, and lead them toward a future defined by purpose and limitless potential.
